She's just been announced as a new judge on "The X Factor and Demi Lovato garnered herself a little added exposure by covering the July 2012 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine.
The 19-year-old superstar looked yummy in yellow for the front page shot while opening up about topics including being diagnosed with bipolar disorder and her distaste for controlling fellas.

On being diagnosed with bipolar disorder:
“I felt relieved when I found out. Like I’m not completely crazy; there’s a medical reason for all of it.” She continues: “It’s a daily thing; you don’t get time off from it. And if I feel myself slipping back into old patterns, I have to ask others for help, which is hard for me to learn, because I really like doing everything on my own.”
On the direction she’d like her personal life to go in:
“I want to be married with kids in 10 years.”
On her dating qualifications:
“I don’t have many deal breakers. I’ve done so much in my life, it doesn’t feel right to judge other people. Oh, I know one quality I won’t tolerate. I would never be with a guy who is controlling.”

Stepping out to enjoy the holiday, Demi Lovato was spotted taking a break from her "X-Factor" judging role to attend a party in Beverly Hills, California over the weekend.
The "Skyscraper" songstress donned a sweeping black dress and studded jean jacket and accessorized with a long key necklace and chunky rocker bracelets and carried two colorful books under her arm.
Demi will surely be keeping busy this summer with her upcoming tour and judging "X-Factor" contestants alongside Britney Spears and Simon Cowell but she seems to be enjoying it tweeting, "OMG!!! This is so much fun! #XfactorUSA".
Although the 19-year-old has managed a successful comeback after her public struggle with eating disorders and depression, Demi admits she's still on the road to recovery.
Gracing the July issue of Cosmopolitan, Demi tells the magazine, “It’s a daily thing; you don’t get time off from it, and if I feel myself slipping back into old patterns, I have to ask others for help, which is hard for me to learn, because I really like doing everything on my own.”

Demi Lovato Gets Honored, Gives Thanks in Rio
Being recognized ahead of her concert, Demi Lovato was doted with an award for Unbroken album sales in Rio de Janeiro on Thursday (April 19).
The "Skyscraper" singer smiled as she was handed a framed memento at Citibank Hall - the venue in which she later took the stage for her second night performance.
Kicking off the show with an energetic rendition of "All Night Long," Demi treated the crowd to a range of tunes also including "Dynamite," "Fix a Heart" and "Hold Up".
Thanking the audience before breaking into "Skyscraper", an emotional Miss Lovato said, "I wanted to let you know as I am grateful for the support you gave me. When I was having serious problems I had to cancel my tour and not I could make it to Brazil. and in no time you were angry with me. You did not bring me down. Instead, you decided to support me and send me messages through Twitter and letters. Thank you."

As she pushes forth with her overseas tour, Demi Lovato made the most of a day off by hitting the beach in Rio de Janeiro on Wednesday (April 18).
The "Skyscraper" singer showed off her sexy curves in a two piece swimsuit as she splashed about in the refreshing Brazilian waters with a few friends.
The fun in the sun comes as Miss Lovato is all set to perform back to back shows on Thursday and Friday at Rio's Citibank Hall before moving on to Sao Paulo.
In related news, Demi recently opened up with BBC Radio 1 for a special documentary titled "How Young Is Too Young To Be A Popstar?" - as she spoke about her battles with bipolar disorder, depression, bulimia and self-harm addiction.
Talking about the pitfalls of 'downtime' during the course of her interview, the 19-year-old said, "It (free time)can be dangerous. A lot of people don’t really know how to deal with that time. You have this crazy high from the concert and then you come crashing down and it’s… it can be dangerous.
"For me, I like to take a bath or get on my tour bus and hang out with my band or my dancers," Lovato continued. "I like to surround myself with people who keep me having a good time so I don’t feel like I have that huge crash."

Making the most of her time in the UK, Demi Lovato was spotted exploring the West End of London, England this afternoon (April 3).
The “Camp Rock 2” cutie looked like she was trying to stay dry as she stopped outside Buckingham Palace and also hit up Piccadilly Circus where she checked out the Eros statue.
From there, Demi checked out Big Ben, Parliament, Trafalgar Square, Downing Street, and Hors Guards, all prior to her in-store appearance at HMV Oxford Street.
And it seems that Ms. Lovato’s penchant for pop stars is still alive and well- she’s confessed fancying One Direction heartthrob Niall Horan, telling press, “He’s so adorable.”

Showing some love to her English fans, Demi Lovato was spotted at ITV Daybreak Studios in London today (April 2).
Sporting an all black ensemble, the former “Sonny with a Chance” chick smiled for the shutterbugs as she made her exit.
Of her new “Give Your Heart a Break” music video, Demi told press it’s centered around the ups and downs of relationships.
"The new music video, I'm basically trying to convince a guy that I didn't break his heart, and we get into a fight and I try to win him over again. I do something special for him at the end of the song."
Demi Lovato's Fan-Filled Travels
Stepping off a flight in London, Demi Lovato was greeted by anxious fans at the Heathrow Airport and took a moment to take a few pictures with them on Sunday (April 1).
Strutting in sky-high boots, the "Skyscraper" singer wore an all black ensemble besides the white tee that peeked out underneath her leather jacket for her day of travels.
Lovato's UK arrival comes after spending a day in Milan where she was able to meet some of her Italian fans, and by the looks of Twitter, the singer really enjoyed her time there.
Earlier today the 19-year-old tweeted, "What an amazing day in Milan. My fans are absolutely incredible and VERY sweet. I love you guys!!"

Doing what she can to bolster her international fan base, Demi Lovato spent the weekend greeting her many Italian admirers.
The 19-year-old singer/actress donned a white and black dress as she took to Mondadori Multicenter in Milan on Saturday (March 31) for an "Unbroken" album singing session.
Clearly pleased with her overseas experience, Miss Lovato posted an appreciative message upon wrapping up the meet and greet, as she tweeted, "What an amazing day in Milan. My fans are absolutely incredible and VERY sweet. I love you guys!!
The Italian adventure comes just as Demi is set to premiere her music video for her single "Give Your Heart a Break" on Monday (April 2) at 8 p.m. on E!
Talking about the song's visual accompaniment with E! News' Giuliana Rancic, Lovato told, "I always love doing music videos, because they send me, like, 20 guys, and they're like, 'Pick the cutest one that you want to be your boyfriend'—and I was like, 'This is so awesome.'"
Continuing on about her soon-to-be released video by recalling the toughest part of the creation process, the "Camp Rock" cutie dished, "I really think the most challenging part of shooting my music video was that I was actually on set for the first time and the director said, ‘OK, you and this guy, you're going to cuddle now.' We totally had to look like a real couple five minutes after meeting."
